Sn0waddict
3k is a few hours of snow and then sleet then a dry spot despite having a further south surface track than 6z. This hobby sucks.

Henry's Weather
I always hear of WAA. Is that referring to the temperature inversion I see on the skew-Ts at like 900-700 mb?

TheSnowman
So Wait Wait Waiiiiit. The GFS gives me 6” because it’s so far South and Not amped I don’t get the storm. But now the NAM is So far North and Amped I get 6” from Dryslotting and Mixing??? But in between those are 18”-24” possibilities. So am I to be excited that the Blend of the 2 is perfect, OR that BOTH current models are telling me to prepare for a horrid storm? Meltdown has started early. 1

NeonPeon
My obstinate pessimism (aka a nod to climates/microclimates) shields me from the rollercoaster ride that are these model runs. Mostly. This one stung. My 4" of slush IMBY looking very plausible.
