A 6" difference when all is set and done wouldn't  surprise me

I did 4 years there from 2001-2005.  The only real big snowstorm while I was up there was the 8 inches we got from PDII in '03.  I missed the 17 inches on Christmas Day earlier that season being on winter break.  Supposedly they've been getting hammered in recent years though.

Its down to 23, didnt expect that. Light fluffy snow over here piling up fast. If you believe NWS and most media outlets, should be a foot or more in NYC from midtown and points north

3.5” here. 29°F with moderate to heavy snow and gusty winds.

First time driving this car in the snow, and I’ve had it for over a year. I had a windshield cover sitting in the trunk unopened, waiting for this day.

Well my two year-old absolutely loved the snow! Took some time getting him in! Before the storm started I asked him if he liked the snow or beach better. The answer was a clear "beach". Now that answer after the storm started is a clear "snow". Very interesting storm out there. Near whiteout now!

Pivot east is starting in PA. Heavy snow moving back east now in central PA, so we watch this to see how intact it can stay coming east overnight.
