Been flurrying now for 15 mins near Lincoln Center so should be up your way in a bit

This delay from south to north shore is like the PDII storm where JFK snowed for 3-4 hours before LGA, albeit not as extreme

On the HRRR accumulation graphic through 5AM, use the lower end of those value ranges. That's the safest, I should be a rough unsafe travel evening .

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 14 inches,
  except for 4-8 inches for southern portions of Nassau and
  Suffolk Counties. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New
  York.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute. Gusty winds could bring down scattered to numerous tree
