Eustis, -SN, 32. Maybe an inch so far.

Cool. Nice to have someone reporting from that area

Flagstaff Lake! Grew up spending summers up there on the opposite side of the lake.

It’s now rocket science..l.the storm is moving past our latitude.  Maine’s turn now.

it was suppose to change over around now ...not die

I didn't like the look of 925 winds going Due N/NNW at 21z...thats basically when radar dimmed.   Models didn't have that effecting rates like this.

Time to eat , getting very hangry.

Thats a bust by modeling and forecast if this is it

While I think Chris is on to something with the radome.......this is always a good rule of thumb. Remember....meteorology, not modelogy.

So essentially the radar is not as bad as it appears?

Yes, essentially the radar is putting out full power but some is immediately taken away by the rain/snow on the dome. So when the returns from Metrowest make it back to the radar, it seems as if there was way less power returned than was sent out and the radar thinks there isn't any moderate to heavy precip there.

How quickly that Z dropped out was a red flag for me. Doesn't usually happen in minutes.

What radar product do you use and you did say you have been at a bar all day right..

Lol. Agree it isn’t super pretty but ground truth is fairly impressive. I love my 4-8’’ call. Might be a little nervous if I went higher than that.
