You’re definitely still welcome there. Hopefully there’s an I-95 crusher we can all enjoy this season.

The track, mid levels and surface would be perfect for a complete crusher DC and north with a slightly colder airmass. Sucks so much that Pacific air did away with this threat south of Boston and along the CT/RI coast and here. NAM had a brief 1-2 hour window around noon where some snow could mix in IMBY in the meat of the CCB over Long Island, maybe that can happen at least. Would be 2-3"/hr in a better airmass with 12" before in this overrunning type precip happening now.

The mid March 2018 event is #2 for me.

Yeah there are several in contention for #3 including Feb 14-15 2015,  Mar 13 2018

But I have footage from Jan 05 that I have never witnessed since... near hurricane force winds hard to stay upright + whiteout in Fenway and Harvard Square, single digit temps... it was unreal.

I only wish I had footage from April 97... the awe of an earlier changeover in the afternoon, hours of thundersnow at night.

Winter of 15 streak in Southie wins for me

Oh absolutely, if we're talking a stretch of weather... Feb 15 no comparison, probably not again in our lifetime.

But for a single storm... Feb 15 blizzard is up there, but still did not match the sheer extreme conditions I witnessed Apr 97 and Jan 05

Wow, nice. The Sugarloaf Sk iarea should get wrecked pretty good.

Looks good on the 00z euro again. This thing slowing down a bit is going to be good for someone who gets under that CCB/deformation. That could be a lot of folks from like ORH to E NH to lake region to Sugarloaf.
