The low again gets to southern Delaware and then starts crawling east from there to off of the coast and continuing eastbound!
This run, any mixing in York & Lancaster goes back to all snow as the low turns slightly to the east and off the coast!

The trends today suggest this goes into Thursday afternoon instead of shutting off Thursday morning.

NYC weenie here

When was the last time central Pa had a huge storm ?

Enjoy the snow. I had 30 inches in 2016 in one storm and it was insane.

Enjoy :)

It’s a big region with really varied weather due to the proximity to the coast, mountains, and the Great Lakes. It’s rare for us all to get a biggie.

In January 2016 Harrisburg had 30”. Others a bit west and south had up to 35”.

Walking through 30 inches of  blizzard conditions is incredible.  Winter wonderland.

Enjoy

We also don't all experience blizzard conditions because of the various landscapes and environments, but our southern tier brethren sometimes get that chance.

Then that deformation band sets up and just crawls!!

Beautiful run.

Yeah it’s similar to the NAM in that a brief window of taint is likely and if it’s sleet then back to a few inches of deform/wraparound I’m down with that.

Like some of us suggest..pack retention

SOmeone posted the Euro ensemble members in the Mid Atlantic forum, and there are a ton of members that are tracking well inland....as in over DC and baltimore. Any thoughts on what that means? There are a few very far east members but the majority of members are west of the OP.

Ok, not over DC and Baltimore but straight up the bay which would seem significant.

It's not just you. I went outside after they posted and it's virtually dead calm here.

There must be something to the Susquehanna that does it. Acts like a wind tunnel, perhaps?

I have a feeling at this time Wednesday night we will have very similar weather ...

No doubt...
