Eskimo Joe
On Sterling's radar it appears that we have a sustained streamer coming over the mountains and down in the NW suburbs of DC. Looking at the terminal radars (BWI, ADW, DCA), the precip might event be making it to the ground towards the bay.

Yea I made the point to shovel out completely yesterday because I saw the MOS guidance was screaming OVC all day today and knew it whatever I didn't clear off wasn't melting today. My 4 year old single stage snow blower that's only been used once refuses to work now after starting up flawlessly in October, so I can only infer it sacrificed itself to the snow gods. 1

It’s also foggy AF.

wxdude64
Locked in the clouds and 32.0 degrees at 1:30 pm. Meanwhile NWS has "Mostly sunny and high of 40" in the forecast since 6 am this morning. It is pretty apparent the NW flow isn't letting up for several more hours....even had a few flurries going by in the breeze.
mattie g
Woke up this morning to some fresh snow on the cars and on too of the icepack on the ground. Pleasantly surprised. Didn't measure, but I’ll eyeball it to 0.25” since I usually measure in 1/4” increments and this was more than a simple T.
