Picked up another 1+ inch of rainfall yesterday.  (I'm not going to denigrate freezing rain's good name by referring to what fell yesterday as such.)  This brings my total to 97.90 inches for the calendar year.  Can I make it to 100 inches with about two weeks left in the year?!?!  I really hope so, because it seems like such a great landmark event, despite the fact that we don't need anymore rain.  :D

My daughter took this picture of these clouds this afternoon in Greenville, SC and was curious what she was observing. She called them "jellyfish clouds". I'm assuming that they might have been dropping virga snow. Correct? Advise your thoughts. Thanks!
