This is just Classic looking at 700mb. Copious amounts of moisture being thrown back up and over a very cold dome if air at both the surface and mid-levels, very nice! Is the Euro still at the top of the list with its resolution and spatial composition?

Does look good at H700...especially at 6-7 days out, the qpf panels tend to be among the least reliable, though we all like to fixate on them.

Even KBUF is bored, the absolute worst pattern. Cold and dry. I would literally take any other pattern then this one. It virtual guarantees Buffalo with a well below normal snowfall season.

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/...
A cold, dry airmass will be in place through a majority of the
Long Term period. Temperatures will be below normal with highs
in the 20s and lows in the single digits to teens from Tuesday
to Friday. Unfortunately for snow lovers, the best chance for
accumulating snow will be closer to Interstate-95 from the Mid-
Atlantic region to southern New England as a coastal low
develops off the coast. There could still be a widespread
snowfall as far north as Western and North Central NY but with
the current consensus track amounts would be light.
