TugHillMatt
I can tell the lake effect/influence has kicked in here. Sky got lighter and the snowflakes transitioned to those large, fluffy flakes that pile up quickly. The wind has also picked up. I can also see the echoes generating over the lake. Springville 6” Fredonia 8”? Lockport 5.2”? Airport probably above 4”...where’s the big totals in the hills to the south? I feel like Cleveland overperformed and the areas around here under performed except for areas that weren’t expecting much...

This is one of those systems that has so many bands moving in different directions and reforming over random places. The amounts are going to be all over the place. BuffaloWeather
Ohio was definitely the winner "What a storm. No power with trees and branches down all over. Think we had anywhere from 18-20” of cement. Generators and chainsaws will be heard for a few days."

I measured a few places around the yard along with the snowboard and ground stake and all measurements were between 3” and 3.5”. Thinksnow18
really getting excited for the mid month period. I believe this will be our chance for something noteworthy to occur. Here’s to hoping the trends are our friend...

Reading through some of the other subs, not many seem very enthusiastic about it anymore.

wolfie09
If we don't see much by the middle of the month the deficit will start to add up lol I think a place like syracuse should have 10" just in November, not much to look forward to the next 10 days.. TugHillMatt
Interesting...snowing harder here now after what's showing up on radar moved out. Working the way between 2 and 3 inches. I can tell the warm ground underneath is trying to melt it from below. I think I might just get to go for my first "fully snow-covered night walk" of the season tonight. TugHillMatt
@Syrmax Hah. What do we need to do to NOT have a bloody low move up through the Lakes? Oh...never mind...At this point, I am planning on going to Tennessee the week before Christmas. That's what we need to do. Get rid of me.
