Maybe we can still trend this into something of an icing event interior areas. Stout high 1

Stout high I think it will be tough for areas as far south and west as you because the air mass is just bleeding in as the storm arrives.

Probably yeah . But with enough of a press it could happen. If it’s more snow in NNE then the ice zone will be forced south to some degree 1

Got 3.5-4.0” of concrete left . Friday may make a dent, but dews look low so probably only in sunny areas. Even if it’s a 34 rain this weekend that would be ok

Even if it’s a 34 rain this weekend that would be ok I think its reasonable that spots like you may retain some snow...more likely in Mass hills that received 6"+, but you could. Even cold rain is doable...as long as its below like 37.

SnoSki14
The pattern is like a poor man's version of 2010. There's decent Atlantic blocking but not strong enough to overcome the poor Nina Pacific.

There is a reason months like that are rare.

PhineasC
The CMC was really insistent on the last coastal. It held the same basic track for days while the GFS and Euro jumped around.

dendrite
Anyway, I'm excited for a colder rain this weekend. /sarcasm Like Will said, I do worry a bit about a trend toward icier solutions up here. It's been a rough start to the season for the birches and my bamboo. The driveway is in midwinter form with the glaciating hardpack snow turning to ice. 1
