Check out the 00z Canadian for an even wilder scenario, snowstorm from Philly to Maine, and an absolute monster for the NW crew

I saw it ...

it seems the PNA evolution is playing havoc with N/stream wave spacing and timing and the op. versions are cyclically relaying/emphasizing between regions of amplitude ... this is an “on” run

Phineas you better have an open guest room for rent for a chase! You basically fulfilled my dream. Since high school I wanted to move from Philly to NE for snow purposes of course. Very jealous.

models tend to have issues with northern branch phases. Plus there’s going to be issues with how much energy is left behind from the first (2nd event) down south so a lot is going to change

I would suggest the Euro comes in > 50% in agreement with these two players ...

12z almost gave impression of suspended physical process while en route to this sort of frame up as it is and I’ve seen this in the past where a guidance more fully commits and sort of “finishes where it left off” on ensuing run

Actually ends up bombigen’ed pretty good near Portland Maine but

“Bun”lieve it or not that could’ve taken place sooner…

It tried to escape a bit of the vestigial southern stream and attendant early convective out to sea ...slows the inevitable from happening - it probably in reality would take place sooner that’s a deep humdinger there but ooph

Are you BOX's secret weapon?

Hmm well I don’t smoke weed & I worked at a casino for 4 years so can pass any background check, where do I apply?!

Try Northrop Grumman or General Dynamics first. Get the clearance and intro to the community for 6 months and then send me a PM. I do have potential Met openings coming soon. :) Trying to expand my DoD weather business to keep my current mets employed.

The Euro has now had a several run display of a huge storm coming into New Mexico around 12/5 or 12/6, and then leaving around 12/8. There was a huge storm in that time frame here in December 2007, on 12/10 or so. My guess is that sucker is the one that blew up into the first big snowstorm of December 2007 for Boston.

We'll see how it goes, but I feel like I did my homework this year. That's the start of it.

This is the peak - now shown three runs in a row.
