It went E when it hit the wall as the GFS did, just that it was a stronger system than the 12z run. Notice the surface temps are 10 degrees colder in SNE and 20 degrees colder in NNE than the 12z run.

Sn0waddict
Given the SE trend of other models seeing the EURO tucked in doesn’t seem like a bad thing to me. Meet in the middle and that would make many happy.
weathafella
EPS looks good-this one has pretty consistent guidance around an event happening.

EPS looks great GEFS members are pretty solid for having some QPF even up this way. I feel like both ensemble system are saying similar things, despite the deterministic runs being quite different. The ensembles are probably a nice compromise between the progressive GFS and usually too amped Euro.

Ericjcrash
6z GFS was looking better but ends up about the same as 0z. Hits a wall and scoots east. I'd imagine some good ensemble members are on deck.
Damage In Tolland
Even though it’s not the old Euro, I think the old rule about when it and the EPS lock in run after run after run holds true. When it doesn’t waffle , it’s coming .
TalcottWx
You have to be bullish looking at these ensemble runs. I could care less about the individual op runs at this stage. Credit to guys like Ray etc who really called their shot with this pattern. Truly impressive.

Damage In Tolland
EPS and Euro and even NAM to some degree have come north for the smaller event Monday getting snow into SNE. Might be a 1-3/2-4 precursor. For now we watch.
