HighTechEE
Over half the QPF has been pissed away already for this storm at 17.4 degrees, better switch over to snow pretty quick if I'm ever going to get 1" of new snow IMBY.

pondo1000
So if that high pressure would have been more due north of us vs. northwest/west, would that have helped us? Trying to figure out why a storm that looked to have had a perfect track/set up could’ve wound up w/ so much taint versus straight up snow. buckeye
I'm not throwing the white flag til morning on this one. I think the bigger bust threat on Thursday is weak/sheared vs. another sleeter
jaf316
You know what's great about a giant sleet storm? Absolutely nothing...

jaf316
Amazing... Mother nature will always find a way for it not to snow in columbus. (it also kind of looks like she's giving us the finger...)

OHweather
Apparently the 0z ILN sounding had a +3C warm nose, which is a good 2C warmer than even those brave, sleety NAM runs yesterday.

Geezus, now we have warm noses on top of warm tongues to deal with....this is getting dangerously close to being meteorological harassment 1

Heavier returns especially south of Cincy. Fingers crossed for all of us it’s snow versus sleet. Painful especially when radar shows snow.
