NEOH
Euro has been rock steady with this storm for days now. I wouldn't get too caught up with the wavering NAM runs.

The NWS radar is such a hot mess. I like the multiple view options, but everything is painfully slow to load and so, so glitchy that it's worthless.

I don't experience any glitches with the weather.cod.edu site at all. Maybe because I copied and pasted the URL. Who knows.

sojitodd
So what is the latest? Is Columbus going to get shafted again? It always seem to end up with 71 being the dividing line with storms. At this point I just don't want any ice.

It's happened too many times with too many heartbreaks. The fact that the first round has mostly missed to the west is a bad sign. I actually didn't do bad here in knox county with round 1. It was snowing fairly hard at 8am and I'd say we got around 2" from the first round and I'm further east than you guys.

JayPSU
Yet another one lost to the WTOD. Absolutely unbelievable. Oh, and we get to do it all over on Thursday.
Gino27
One sliver of hope for those along and SE of I-71 is that to my untrained eye the meso obs make the high look a tad stronger than some of the high-res models. It's pretty close to the nam however.
jaf316
It sucks being right on the edge every single time. I feel like if you zoom in tight enough on these maps, you can see my house sitting right on the mix line...

Conditions have to be absolutely perfect to see something like a double-digit snowfall.
iluvsnow
Rgem actually a bit better than the NAM/GFS....at least has the snow/sleet line about a county and a half further SE.
iluvsnow
Right on I-71 says the High Res Canadian at noon. Too close for comfort. Would be nice just to be safely in all snow and not worry....

Gino27
I live around the pink "x" but the gradient that usually sets up across Franklin county is always astonishing.
jbcmh81
I haven't compared the RGEM, but on the NAM Columbus is slightly better than 6z. Most of Franklin County seems to stay *just* outside of the mix, but then you get that weird dry slot it keeps showing. GFS is a hair SE, but it has a more expansive mix. Yeah, the run to run changes are very minor right now from what I'm seeing. The story is 71 is on the line. That's always the story.
