Cold Miser
Just let me know when I can drag up my snowblower death post. I think after I originally posted that we were hammered pretty good.

weathafella
Not sure when we’ll be back in Boston but it seems the crap pattern is when we’re preoccupied with family matters and the better pattern upon our return? Then again, Kevin said Midwest winter so maybe we should stay in Chicago..lol.

leo2000
My point yesterday is we need the help from a negative EPO to get the cold source. Because if you don't have a cold source what good is the positive PNA really going to do?.

Rolling forward (la la land range) I would think it should improve Expand Yeah I'm hoping it doesn't migrate back though. The weeklies yesterday had it planting over AK for pretty much all of December. Weeklies can obviously be wrong (they've had some brutal stretches this year, including back in January), but you'd like to see the ensembles continue the trend over the next week. I'd like to see at least one transient ridge shoot up into Bering/AK just to get Canada reloaded. It's pretty torched. It could use a refresh. The PNA ridging would be a lot more effective with a fresh cold dump prior to it. But beggars can't be choosers I guess.
