CoastalWx
Think it ends up AN, but we should see a lot of alternating periods of warmth and cold.
ORH_wxman
Posted in the other thread that late November looked colder on the weeklies with western ridging....but it's week 6. Almost no skill. It does look like we warm up after the colder wx in the first few days of November.

ORH_wxman
That's quite a punch the PV is taking at the end of the 12z EPS....didn't show that on the 00z run. We'll have to see if that is a trend that sticks. Would probably mean colder wx down the line in November vs previous forecasts.

Damage In Tolland
Shaping up to be a pretty warm first half of Nov at least. Watch for tropical development near Bahamas first week -10 days

Verbatim no pig on the EPS, but a more -PNA pattern will have us more on the mild side later in the first week or so.

ORH_wxman
Yep....piggy has disappeared on guidance so fingers crossed that holds. Look more -PNA like Scott said but there's actually some weak ridging up in AK/EPO region. Weeklies look like they may cool down late month into early December with western CONUS ridging, but that is out in clown range.

CoastalWx
Should be some cold building in Canada if the EPS is right. Looks better than recent runs. Will see if that spills east...but plan on seasonal to mild temps maybe at that time.

CoastalWx
Looks like another bout of winter again for the Plains near Veterans Day as -PNA takes shape. Looks rather mild and mundane here, but that is not a change from guidance.
