poolz1
06z euro has 2"+ amounts by late thursday evening with plenty more to go....00z UK with a broad area of 3"+ for the region. WPC 2"+... Will be interesting to see how things evolve with a large HP pressure pushing in as Zeta and the ULL work in tandem to flood the east with plenty of moisture. 3

NorthArlington101
A couple GEFS and EPS members end the wet weekend with a couple of snowflakes for some of the N MD folks. I've bought WxBell and am beginning my first flakes watch.
Eskimo Joe
12z Euro is a legit snow storm from Central PA up into NE interior. Flakes for Garrett and Allegany Counties on the back side above 1,500 feet.

Eskimo Joe
Euro brings Zeta remnants right over DC Along and east of US-15 appear to get gusts in the mid to upper 30s Thursday night. Would be a soaker too (3"+?)

PivotPoint
Not a bad looking coverage map for oct 26th Maybe our La Niña winter will buck the trend. October Siberian snow coverage doesn’t look all that robust though. Ehh
BlizzardNole
From LWX: "While it appears that the best frontogenetical forcing (along the 850mb boundary) may set up to our north and the best instability and tropical moisture (from the remnants of Zeta) may set up to our south..." Yep, I am expecting 0.2 or less here in the central MD desert.

A good rule of thumb is: whatever the models show for rain, move the decimal once to the left for Germantown, and once to the right for southern MD.
