Solid 2-day totals across the area.  The favored spots SE of DC get hit again.

Let the peasants in the low lands have their rain. Indeed, us lords and ladies in the hills reap the mighty snows each dull winter day, whilst they wail and gnash their teeth in the fields.

My rain gauge says I got about 4" here in prince Frederick.  I only pray this precip pattern holds all winter with a couple cold shots mixed in.  We've had A LOT of rain this year.

Careful Joe, remember what happened after the “let them eat cake “ comment. As always .....

If you get a ring doorbell camera that's hardwired make sure you update the transformer to the recommended (30VA) = 30 Watts size . Most homes usually only have a  10VA . Newer homes might have a 20VA which is fine . The transformer is usually mounted in the unfinished basement on the side of a porcelain pull chain light  box or on the electrical panel itself. Amazon has them

Thanks. It’s the battery ring doorbell and a few battery powered spotlight cameras. Didn’t know that about the hardwired though!

I thought it was susposed to get cold tonight. Woke up to 42 degrees lol. It will be Christmas before we get a frost here in the tropical rainforest.

Yeah frost/freeze fail lol.

Maybe too many cloudy periods and/or saturated soil. Had my doubts about the forecast low of 30(which was later raised to 33).

Temp has dropped here over the last hour or so. Down to 37.

36.5 just before sunrise. I am sure there is some frost out in the open areas.

edit- Took a walk beyond the woods lol, and just a hint of frost here and there on the fields. Super wet with some water laying around from all the rain, so not conducive to frost with marginal temps.
