That winter was frustratingly average until the 15" dump on April Fools.  That was the only event over 9" and my deepest pack was 28".  Not many winters when Ginxy has a peak 10" deeper than here.

Still have my roof rake but haven't used it much since that winter.   I had a new roof put on our house this fall, has the ice dam protection with the leak barrier protection/roof roll so probably never have to do it again....

Yea. Those are nice. We’ll be doing our roof soon, plus a big reno project, so I’m definitely going modern effeciency with ice and leaf protection.

After Irene toasted my roof I had the same put in, but raked in 15 with the 3 plus feet on it.
