There are a TON of people out in the hills, hope they know it could turn very quickly around 3-4pm. ORH_wxman
Yeah that’s a decent chance for NNE to get first accumulation on that look. We’ll see if it holds over the next few days. Even if it’s not totally synoptic ala 12z Euro, cold ULL snow showers are a distinct possibility.

PhineasC
I have a lot of standing water on my property again already so 4-5 more inches of rain would definitely crush any remaining drought issues, at least IMBY.
weathafella
Windy and warm here in BTV today. I just dragged 3 full boxes of our old LPs into our daughter’s apartment. Each box probably 60-70 lbs from the car up to her 2nd floor apartment. Them a ton of other stuff she needs. So glad to have done this before the storms hit later! Not bad for an old man! Flakes here in the mountains this week?

Turning the daughter onto The Band, J Geils and The Grateful Dead? Books and Records are brutal to move, most of ours are shelved in a dry basement and they are probably staying if we ever move. Lava Rock
What a great day. Upper 70s. Great mountain bike/beer tour with friends, then got rear ended on way home with wife's new car. Crappy way to end the day
powderfreak
This has been some serious rain. PWS around me are ranging from 0.80” to 1.26”. I’ll head out to check the Stratus once it stops. Definite pattern change here after the dry September run. I’ll have to add it up later but it’s been very wet since September 27th.

powderfreak
Looks like 0.95” in the Stratus unless we get another round. Crazy to go September 1st through 27th with only 0.35” and then do ~5.5” in the next two weeks. I guess Mother Nature loves her averages.

Thats 5+ (about 5.5” actually) inches of rain within the past two weeks since September 27th. I saw the warnings but I’m not home. Saw what looks like some big lighting towards that area though. They are averages for a reason. Sooner or later it’ll swing back in the other direction. Maybe next April or May you guys get a 15” month or something lol. Flood watches for weeks, and everyone laughing about when it was dry.
