TauntonBlizzard2013
Gfs has less than an inch of rain for eastern SNE through the end of the run... which is now out to middle of October. yikes
dendrite
2-3" on the GFS and Euro...perfect. We don't need any of that 5" nonsense.

dryslot
This probably ends further east then modeled in the end, I don't think you can count anyone out, That's a real moist air mass moving NNE and looks like it could be convective and your not going to nail down those areas this far out for heavy precip from some of these embedded cells, PWAT's will be in the 1-2"+ range. Maybe if it came over the course of a week, not 2 days. Now's a good time to plant that grass seed? Or maybe it will wash away.... Might be the best time to plant seed. Just make sure to cover the seed with topsoil and hope for the best.

Though some decent gusts look probable on the NAM and GFS, just more confined and further east. Edit: I think you’d really need the low to crank quickly to get close to that kind of wind event. Low does bomb. I think ern CT, RI, and ern MA areas need to watch when those winds are progged what they are at 925. Might be a nasty fine line of heavy rain moving East. tamarack
12z GFS has 0.68" thru day 16 for Augusta, more than twice that at IZG. Wednesday shows a real narrow strip of heavier precip that wiggles E/W with every run.

Maybe a Randolph Raking is in order? 1
