powderfreak
8.5” on the ground. I had 4” first and then my car had another 6” this morning. Around 10” total between the two distinct rounds. Cars are round 2 accumulation, hedgerow sporting event total.

tamarack
1st measurable 3-6:30 this morning, 0.6" on just 0.02" LE despite mostly small flakes. Probably most will evaporate during the day.
powderfreak
Yeah we did well for sure. Driving around this was a legit little storm. Looks to be 12” or a bit more at 1500ft on the ground. Plows definitely caught off-guard for some reason. Every lot in town has 8” ruts in it lol. 2

Nice to start with ~10” total between the two systems. This is one of those ones where I’m torn... 10” from the break and measuring it with two different events... or just the 8.5” that’s on the ground at the end. You wouldn’t want to see the depth on the side facing the mountains. The winds have scoured that out badly.

wxmanmitch
4.0" overnight for a 4.6" two day total. Road was plowed and I have just enough to snow blow the driveway even though it'll melt soon.
powderfreak
The heated walkways are fired up in some sections again... I’m with Will on hating it. But creates some funny scenes like this. The warm ground argument works when the pavers are heated lol. Deep winter in other areas.
powderfreak
The snow cam isn't live yet to public but this is pretty funny. Last numbers I could see were around 10" before it just became a complete snow mushroom.

You’re definitely not the only one that likes the heated walkways – I love them. It’s hard to figure out people’s beef. It’s not as if they’re melting the useful snowpack - they’re removing the snow from where you’re going to remove it anyway. You don’t need salt, you’re not scraping down the masonry, and the end result is a clean look instead half scraped areas, and patches of snow and ice everywhere. The effect the heated walkways produce is actually quite aesthetic because you also get the clean edges between where the snow should be and where it shouldn’t, instead of piles of shoveled snow thrown everywhere. Shoveled piles can have a clean look sometimes as well, but there’s often some sort of dirt or salt in there, and it’s hard to beat the clean lines of the heated walkways where the surrounding snow is typically pristine/untouched.

powderfreak
To me it always reminded me of ski vacations out west at Whistler and places that have these massive heated plazas... so it’s a good memory and makes it feel like a ski resort. If I had my way they would stay off while a storm hits and then turn them on to melt it instead of plowing lol. Leaves very clear demarcations of “no snow” to “snow” with no brown snowbanks like JSpin said. Anyway, it’s snowing again pretty steadily. Wind is nuts though, lots of blowing and drifting. PhineasC
It just keeps snowing here. Down in Milan/Berlin/Gorham they didn't even get an inch from the entire event. That's why I cast some doubt on that upslope paper from GYX posted earlier. Gorham is not really comparable to Randolph in the upslope department, it would seem. J.Spin
Regarding these past couple of storms, here’s the settled snow depth profile I observed during this morning’s ski tour at Bolton Valley: 340’: 4” 1,000’: 4-6” 1,500’: 6-8” 2,000’: 8-10” 2,500’: 10-12” 3,000’: 12”+
