WinstonSalemArlington
Allan Huffman: Assuming we don't get another 90 degree day at RDU, seems very possible with current pattern. We will end the year at 49. That is the fewest at RDU since 43 in 2014.

olafminesaw
Looks like once again, NE flow from a wedge should tamp down any flood threat that Beta would otherwise bring. Also fast moving. Lots of parallels to Sally really, just a weaker system. Edit: It does look like there are some dynamics at play. Frontogenisis with a transfer of the low to the coast. Probably up towards the VA border. Has some serious winter storm vibes. DC special if this were January

Wow
cant really shake the clouds since the rain.. still quite dampish on the ground.. . mower was spinning out easily in the mushy spots. good thing is the fescue seed i put down a couple weeks ago is coming up nicely, unlike like september when it sat around and baked in the heat for an entire month. wasn't a good grass year.
