100 % agree

seeing flakes flying over a white landscape to refresh whatever is there is just pinch me kinda stuff.  I love it.  Deep snowpack is great, but not likely round here.  I/we can get clipped/jipped frequently and am totally cool w/ those NW flow patterns as when right, we are talking about events every few days....and as we know we can get lucky once in a while and have a decent event thrown in.  Just talking bout it makes me giddy.

Do I see blue here?

Yup sure do, Denver may have their first snow of the season with that trough dumping into the Rockies. The Euro has been showing that as well. How's this for insane...look at the Euro ensemble output for KDEN. Literally supposed to be 90-100 for a high for a few days right up to the day before it maybe snowing there.

Cloudy and 76 here.  Not feeling it

Sort of agree with you...but I noticed that the winds are NE at Capital City and at MDT, but S at LNS. If I understand correctly, one area to watch for the development of rotating storms is in the vicinity of where winds are veering from different directions. That seems to be set up right over the southern tier right now.

Yeah I feel the same way as well. I don't get a good vibe on activity this afternoon/evening but who knows. Cloudy here all day, but humid no sun to stir things up in the atmosphere.

Sun is in and out here. I'm at 82 so a decent amount warmer than Cashtown and those to my north. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this - fully recognizing that the threat is far less as you go north of the 'pike.

Yep absolutely, you are definitely I think in a more primer spot for activity.
