Nothing new here this summer. My area has been the bullseye for every rain event this summer. I've never seen it this wet and nasty in the 42 years I've been alive.

Two years earlier for you (probably):

beautiful up here! suns out, nice breeze and no hazy smokey sky!

Been watching the satellite animation and it is making progress my way. Just took my Greyhound for a mid day walk, very breezy and cooler.

I admit, I do miss the blue sky look, has been a week with only haze, smoke or simply cloudy.

Have a great weekend mappy !

Was surprised by a hummingbird hitting the feeder hard today. Refreshed all the feeders and hoping to feed them.

I pulled the feeder down a week ago because I assumed they had all migrated south... lo and behold today they are out in force in the garden hitting up the mexican sunflowers I have growing. Glad I had something for them!

I saw a few here as well dipping in the flowers,  Must be heading down south.

I tried to get a pic with my phone, but they were way too fast.

Keep those feeders up for a few more weeks!  I usually have a few travelers through the last week of September, and have seen them as late as Oct. 4.

I am looking forward to some crisp fall weather this weekend.
