Got a nice sleet/snow dusting that I wasn’t expecting, so that’s a win for sure! Looking back, the 12z Para GFS had this band as snow/sleet moving through. On paper it makes it look like the biggest event of the year for Crossville/Monterey area but not sure how it looks for the rest of the forum. Nashville hasn't seemed to talk any about it yet though and haven't seen much action in here either. NWS Nashville shows less than 1/2" here tomorrow night but TWC now says 1-3" tomorrow night, 1-3" Monday, and 1" Monday night. Should be interesting to see who's closer. I would also be interested to see how the system played out i n @BuCoVaWx 's area. Don't know that we've ever had any obs from this type of system from that area. I do know the higher elevation roadways got a bit rough, but it stayed mostly rain in the valley locations. They didn’t even know it had snowed, and wouldn’t if I hadn’t told them to go check on it, as no forecasts were calling for it. But after it got above freezing everything was back to normal around 5am. We aren't close to the predicted high today as of now. It was supposed to be around 50. Currently 41. Falling well below forecasted lows, as well as falling well short of high temp forecasts.
