Well as we all know with these low pressure systems sliding south of us we are always in the drivers seat. Im going to dive in more tomorrow after another round of runs but I am optimistic about the end of the week storm at least.
I'm pretty optimistic about this nwf tomorrow too. It looks to be good for an inch or two for the high border areas.

Even here in McDowell its always crowded. Favorite fishing and hiking spots are flooded with people. It sucks honestly

My grandpa had property up on the McDowell Mitchell line that he had on the market for years and no bites as the terrain is a bit steep getting to it. When the riots increased, it was a bidding war on that property. Everyone bidding was from major metro areas.

I would not be surprised to see an advisory sent out for late tonight into tomorrow.

KMRX issued a statement for the North side of my mountain (¼ mile from me) calling from 2-4" above 4kft and up to 6" closer to 5kft through tomorrow night.

Sounds good to me.

Yep.  Hope y'all get the 'rona whipped in your family, BTW.   County numbers here, via WLOS, are at a ~30% positivity rate.  That just won't do. And we still haven't seen a Christmas bump yet...

Thanks I hope it starts improving soon, so far my family members who are positive are doing OK.

I'm starting to lose faith on the Friday system

The low just seems to be void of a really moisture wrapped system... This is why I said I would wait until Tuesday to really look at things. I've been down this road several times but the trends with the global models have not been great. Saying that we need to see how things play out and keep a level head.

Maybe so for some areas but I expect the southern escarpment will wring out some decent QPF with upsloping. Highlands to Hendersonville should do well.
