CoastalWx
Trough is pretty far west to start October with srly winds. Looks mild to me? Even at hr 360, that's not really cold at the srfc with 850 temps near normal. Maybe after the 4th or so?
rimetree
A light breeze started moving early this morning so only got to 36.4. Will probably take a ride to the beach Tuesday to check out the swells...could be a little gusty too. I like this cool shot, but guidance looks pretty warm into October. Probably not a huge torch like some Nina Octobers..but a decent warm signal on the weeklies. But yeah, crisp mornings have been nice for a change.

Are we convinced we don’t see a coolish shot Friday/Saturday? Euro’s not too impressed but other guidance shows potential. Are we also convinced FROPA on the deep trough doesn’t happen 9/29ish? Damage In Tolland
Bet that shifts west again like all summer. Starts out as floods in Sne and ends up over NW Nj into Ny state

We’ll get maybe some cooler air for a time Friday and/or Saturday before we finally get some rain hopefully . GEFS says fropa at end of month. EPS looks like after the first few days of October. But these cold shots of 540 air tickling SNE are done for awhile.

Day 7-10 QPF maps, that's all the needs to be said. I still think you're going to doubt any rainfall coming up though, regardless of prog or day. Shook but with reason. I’d guess we’ve heard that 5-10 x this summer . The only time it worked out was in early July . Since then Stein has strangled every event. Wagons west for big amounts seems most likely on this. Hoth
Broke out the flannel and made chowder this morning, then split wood and stacked it like a boss. Also stocked up on cider and assorted brown liquors. Yup, it's fall up in this bitch. 3
