Are we ever going to see real sun again? Been hazy for like weeks. Asthma cases ticking up.

The smoke is so far up no one is getting asthma from it lol.  Beautiful sun rises but I look at it and then think about the losses of life and homes out west ,so sad. My sister sold and moved out of her home the day before her neighborhood was evacuated in Sierra Madre California.  She is now in Colorado in a safe area from wildfire.

Seems like the cold front has gone through here.  Temp down from 66F to 60.7F.  Heavily overcast and with the smoke layer above the clouds it is pretty dark out there.  Models have been spitting out a thin line of precip tonight right through my area.  About .25" or so.  I'll believe it when i see it.

Chill coming.

Saturday night will be even colder than the night in most spots,
especially in Vermont, as high pressure crests overhead. Current
model output statistics suggest near record low temperatures for the
date. North American Ensemble Forecast System data supports the
unseasonably cold weather; forecasted 850 mb temperatures in our
region would be among the lowest 2% compared to the 1979-2009
climatology. Favored valley locations will likely have to contend
with a patchy freezing fog towards daybreak.
