powderfreak
With the dry air mass, getting my fetish in for high diurnal ranges... heat on in the car on the way to work with temps in the 30s, then coming home with A/C as temps are upper 70s. BML leads the pack that I can see with a 46F swing, 33F to 79F.

powderfreak
Good bye NNE gardens this weekend... lol BTV has “low 20s” at spots like SLK and NEK of VT for lows. Pretty early for that. “Progged 850mb temps in the -2c to -4c range, are 2 to 4 std below climo normals for the date, suggesting a high prob of below normal temps. Widespread frost/freeze conditions are likely on Friday Night into Sat”

powderfreak
This is some sad rain with the FROPA... you know it’s dry when a trough of that depth moving in can barely squeeze out maybe 5 hundredths of very small droplet rain over the upslope zone. Guess yesterday’s 19% RH didn’t really set the stage.

Might be a few days like today....but I don't see a big torch. At least the end of the month. October may start in a similar way. Nothing screams big torch, but maybe a little AN. We may have some extended troughs too our west...so we watch for home brew stuff.
