Where in SB are you? I need to find a local station for qpf reports. What is SB? I am in western Norwich. I think this is the closest station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KVTSHARO1?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash It says .22 overnight. This looks like a new station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KVTNORWI10 I am about halfway in between. It says .20 overnight.

It's all IMBY. If 30% of the people get under an inch they claim it's Stein. Do you know how hard it is to really get 3-4" of rain in less than a day? 0.5" or more is a good soaking. Lots of chances the next 2 weeks.

Maybe your June heat wave? Also the difference between high bush (there) and low bush (Maine.) The major blueberry acreage in Maine is downeast - Hancock and Washington counties - and most areas are on shallow and/or excessively drained soils. The plants themselves are tolerant of drought and low fertility, but lack of rain limits the amount/size of the fruit. The harvest runs late July thru early/mid August. I don't think the Maine harvest was a disaster (have not seen the numbers) but significantly down from recent years.
