You’ve gotten more September rain than many mountain locations up here have.  Congrats!

Grass is still green though and I don’t know, it doesn’t bother me in the least... loving the San Diego dry weather.  Garden was frosted and whatever survived, growing season sure to end this weekend.

Hopefully we carry it all month, just sunshine daily.

Don, I wonder when the last time 40s came so early....

The last time the temperature fell into the 40s this early in the season at BOS was September 15, 2014 when the temperature fell to 48°. The last time the temperature fell into the 40s even earlier was September 10, 2003 when the temperature dropped to 49°.

SNE is destroying NNE in rainfall in September... but no one in NNE seems to mind, well except maybe Lava Mtn.  This is 9/1-9/16.

Most of us are solidly under a half an inch, some even under a quarter inch.  Looks like even a good swath of the Maine coastal plain NW of Portland is under a tenth of an inch.

Wonder what records are for driest Steineptember on record

Expand

80 years of reliable COOP data here and this will be driest Sept back to 1940 if pattern holds with no rain.  Driest was .62", currently under .50". Hopefully something pops up in the next few weeks.

You are so sensitive to anyone even making it sound like you aren’t dry, lol.  It’s a joke.

Average those NNE values and the SNE values.  You’ve had twice as much rain at .61” as J.Spin, myself and Phin ;).
