Expand 21 of 22 for September frosts - only in 2011 did 1st frost wait until October, and that was a hard freeze on 10/6. Median date of 1st one is 9/19 but it's ranged from 1st to 30th. My mom reminded me this morning that last year she arrived for a visit on September 15 and she thought at that point the foliage was "spectacular" - lol, for us it had just started.
