AppsRunner
That small circulation just to the west of KLOT looks like trouble. No obvious TDS but its also got 90kt at 450ft so it's gonna produce damage one way or the other.
purduewx80
One of those microscale circulations is just west of KLOT radar, which is estimating 100-105MPH winds 500' above the ground, so likely reaching the surface. KLOT will probably go down if it holds together.

Chicago Storm
Pretty zzzzz up around here. Peak wind gusts up to ~50mph for a short time, with the leading edge of the line. Looks like severe winds are more localized to where the smaller MV's are located in the line now, compared to the entire line earlier.

mjwise
DeKalb seriously lucked out. Windy but only leaves and small twigs down here. I am happy to take the rain and take a pass at days+ without power that people in Iowa are facing. Still ethereal and dark in the cold pool rains/gusts.

Calderon
So, for the Chicagoland area today: rampant looting in the early morning, then a large factory fire near O' Hare, now tornado warning with 80+mph winds. 2020 is wild, today, even wilder.

Chicago WX
Very large limb down off one of my trees. Just missed the house, thankfully. Had a brief uptick in big winds, along with a close lightning strike. Not sure which one got the tree. Pool has a ton of leaves too. Rest of the neighborhood is littered with your usual high wind small limb damage.
