the way CT has been the past few years with TORs probably. Will have at least one confirmed yesterday...maybe 2. That would bring the total to 6 this year.

How does the period 18-20 compare to the past history of tornadoes in CT?

Difficult to truly assess b/c of the accuracy of the database but this period has been by far the most active. (Except for a few years span in the 70's but that's when the database is a bit questionable). But thankfully they all have been relatively on the weaker side. The last biggie was Hamden F4 in 1989. But haven't had a 2 since 2006. But there's a chance yesterday could end that streak

Thank you. I took a quick look at CT tornadoes and Hamden seems to be  a bit of a "hot" spot for tornado activity.

Yesterday looked like an EF2 at the very min.
