BOS and ORH ASOS both over 1” water.

BOS gust to 42mph, ORH to 62mph.

Yeah--the wind was insane.  I was worried a tree might come down on our house a week before we sell it.  I suppose I should be concerned that a tree could have come down on the house we're guying too.  I guess that would be more of a sellers' angst than mine.

Congrats to all north of and on Pike. At some point lucks gotta turn

Yeah...not to gloat but it was epic here ...that line congealed around 3:30 Keen to Concord NH and has just been crawling S fanning 55 mph timbre crackling gusts... nickle hailers, and pronged multi pulsing bolts jesus... Even flood warnings in a drought zone -  ... thing is, the line is moving slow too - it's sneaking memorable for around here to have static outflow for 10 minutes like we had in Ayer - I mean more typically the tree tops lean over for a burst and then it's just breezy with heavy rain. This... ? it was like gust after gust of gust... And some people getting 2" of rain in 35 minutes...

No Watch

head scratcher.. .it's been a warning wall the whole way too.  Ha... Weatherwiz must be apoplectic

Are the ASOS sensors accurate in insane rates like we had?

ORH is at 1.23" at this point.  That'll knock us down a few rungs on the August qpf rankings.

Edit:  1.29"....really having a hard time stopping. Still some thunder/lightning.  Close enough that my treks out to flip the steaks are pretty quick.  The conitnuing rain helps make those fast, too.

1.37 today 3.65 so far  for the month.  Down to 66 another nice night for sleeping. Hell of a way to run a drought / torch.

Funny how one event will certainly move ORH and BOS down the driest summer list.  1+ inch of rain is probably good for a decent bump down the list actually.

You guys had a fun couple of days . We sure could use some relief south of Pike. In my 15 years in this house.. worst I’ve ever seen it far and away. Death surrounds us now
