Expand It’s an ASOS limitation. The ceilometers at most locations only report up to 12000ft. This cloud deck is above that height so the ob is officially “CLR” which is really clear below 12kft. If the overcast layer is 15kft it gets missed. So the apps don’t have enough intelligence unless the developers really went wild and tried to determine clouds based on vis sat pixels. It will certainly be warm to humid at times, but the ridging in the Davis Straits and out west will try to bring in shots of cooler air.
