In Burlington for an errand this evening... 90/55 with a 10-20mph breeze out of the west.

It is incredible the difference between mid-50s dews and 65-70F at these temperatures.  It really doesn’t even feel that hot with the breeze or we’ve just become numb to it.

Yeah toss those WRI obs. Something was weird for 2 hours there.

SNC had a similar problem. Dew jumped from 74 to 77 while the rest of CT was 69-72, and then stayed there for a few hours before the station went offline a little while ago.

Are you at least wearing a hat?

There might be some brain damage eventually...someone has to have done a study or 2 on that...

Well just about everyone had a 3 day heatwave.   First of 2020 summer

Glad to let you guys in SNE share the heat this time.

I still can’t believe you guys didn’t do a heat wave back in June when a bunch of NNE ASOS sites ripped out 5 straight days of 90+.

Something happened before those bad obs and they were forced to estimate wind data. So I suppose they're trying to do obs manually and struggling doing so? lol

White boy meteorologist goes out 6 hours unprotected within a month of the solstice.

Methinks brain damage preceded this event..lol.

In high school I worked at a golf course. First day, likely the last week in June I decided I'd get myself a killer tan. Shirt off from 7 in the morning until quitting time. If possible I looked worse than that dude.

Wear sunscreen folks.

Holy shit man...you better like get tested for skin cancer at some point down the road. And legit want to keep up with that.

I have had only 1 sunburn in my life and that was because I was on doxycycline for Lyme Disease and didn't read the warning label.

Mine was the Dominican Republic in March, at the height of white boy whiteness.  Northern VT to Dominican and I think my second day I got burnt so bad I could barely move.  But I don’t think it was at that level in the pic here.  Mine was my legs, forgot the sunscreen there.  Couldn’t bend a knee for like a week.

Skin cancer potential from sunburn is pretty terrifying. This is something I worry about alot. One of my best friends from high school had his father pass away from skin cancer due to sunburns he would get when he was growing up.
