Well that is the nature of convection. Sometimes they skip areas. However, just looking at the setup..I think you are in a favorable spot for storms. It doesn't mean you will get it though. We get very high heat at times, and all of our heavy rain events have come on ENE wrap around flow from N.NH and NE VT. I cant remember so many days with thunderstorms moving from NE to SW up here.
