NJwx85
Took a long time to get here and things should be wrapping up soon, but expectations have been met here. Not much in the way of wind, but enough to sweep the rain and give it the tropical feel.

jm1220
FRG gusting to 40mph. Altogether pretty disappointing though East of the city which is what the writing on the wall became this morning, assuming this is about it for the rainfall. FRG is at about 0.6” and ISP 0.11”. Too bad this couldn’t head NNE instead of getting yanked due north. This area could really use the rain.

I didn't mind being just north of Allentown for this one, it was pretty exciting with all the heavy rain today and even a nice dose of wind. I've learned through the years it's way better being a bit to the west of a storm, rather than being too far to the east ;-)

Santa Claus
Reflective question for you gents, not attempting some slight at anyone. How long ago was it we (myself included) were bitching about drought, contemplating pattern changes, etc. How long ago was Fay on the radar? MAYBE a week? Probably at most 4 days ago. I am remembering today the next time and every time we talk about the inevitability of next week's weather.

Your location worked to your disadvantage as the heaviest bands didn’t quite make it that far into interior NNJ.
