It's a bit early, but while Tuesday may be a subdued day compared to this afternoon in NJ, it appears Wednesday afternoon-evening should be our big convective event of the Mon/6th-Thu/9th time frame,

Had a max rain rate of 7.29 per hour. This cell formed 
over head and continues to back build. 3.53 in the Davis rain gauge so far with this event. 
I'm watching it on radar. It's so close to me in Rockland County but I have a feeling most of it is missing

Wow-some crazy storms this summer...that's right up there with my 4 incher last Friday

My pool here in Cornwall on Hudson went from an inch below the center screws on the skimmer wall frame to the top of the frame. Crazy.

this line is crawling through NJ.  looks like it'll be a solid hour of heavy rain unless for some reason it dies out.

by the way, put yourselves on sunset watch again tonight.  could be a good one behind these storms.
