Had a max rain rate of 7.29 per hour. This cell formed
over head and continues to back build. 3.53 in the Davis rain gauge so far with this event.
I'm watching it on radar. It's so close to me in Rockland County but I have a feeling most of it is missing

The Hudson Valley contributor amount matches Digital Storm Total.  Suggest using it as a guide for qpf.

Have thunder here in Wantage but  paltry .08 here in the southern part of Wantage.  Note sure why mPing is not working. Been on and off the past several days.

Hey Walt (Mat from the ONJSC). Saw this yesterday.

Sure was. Just got done draining down the pool.

My pool here in Cornwall on Hudson went from an inch below the center screws on the skimmer wall frame to the top of the frame. Crazy.

this line is crawling through NJ.  looks like it'll be a solid hour of heavy rain unless for some reason it dies out.

by the way, put yourselves on sunset watch again tonight.  could be a good one behind these storms.
