WxUSAF
Is today the day for an old-fashioned N-S oriented long squall line? NAM stretches it from Albany to Richmond.
BlizzardNole
Got shut out. At one point there were storms in every direction. Hoping for better luck this afternoon.

Models seem to be in agreement on timing earlier than some of the recent storms too - maybe 3-6pm crossing the area.
midatlanticweather
.03 inches of precipitation in the last 24 hours. We did have .24 inches Monday. Only .64 inches since June 22nd. Purcellville is super dry! We will see if we get more rain today! Weeds are thriving!
WxUSAF
Check out LWX radar! Some big bird or bug colony left the top end of the Bay in Cecil County this morning.
WVclimo
0.35" from last evening's activity. 2.75" for July now, after 3.06" in June and 2.02" in May. Looks like I have done fairly well considering some others' reports.
wxdude64
I had rolling thunder from 3:30-8:00 pm yesterday, and received a massive T. The roads didn't even get completely wet. At least 4 storms skirted by in about every direction.

Smaller one looks like it happened around the same time in Charles County along the Potomac.
BlizzardNole
These point-click forecast graphics confuse people sometimes. We have a funeral and burial of a friend of my Mom's today, and my wife saw this and said "oh no it's going to be raining heavily today!" Probably would be better to say just chance thunderstorms instead of "heavy rain." Anyhow, hoping for a good hit in Germantown today as we are on a bit of a losing streak. No kidding I’m the losing streak. Those two sets of storms last night that literally phased out of existence on approach was so sad.

Have been taking my daughter to ride very early to beat the sun rising. The last few mornings as long as we were done by 8 am it was good. Today we stepped outside to head over to VA and decided it was too nasty even at 6:30 in the morning. Current dew point here is 74.
