Probably should’ve been excessive heat warnings for today.

Definitely for Long Island at least. Upton did mention that eastern areas would have the highest HI, but 103+ at the ASOS sites warrants excessive heat warning to me.

FRG with an official 97 for a high again, consistent with my numbers throughout the heat wave which looks to continue tomorrow as well, and maybe into Thursday.

This month is becoming memorable for heat out on the island, even though its not the case further west. But for me, these past 3 weeks have been high end heat. Very impressive.

On beach in CI since 1pm.    88*(59%RH) here as of 3pm, as read remotely from beach.    89*(56%RH) at 3:30pm.

Clouds finally interfering somewhat with sun, just now.

Good breeze all the way, so far.     Tolerable, but I still have to drag myself home with stuff.

Who would have thought that FRG could challenge EWR forJuly average temperature.

90 here at the moment, I’ve been under cloud cover for the past hour or so, even had a few raindrops.

High of 96, low of 80, if the rain stays away this should hold.

Today’s mean is 87.7, beating out 7/21/19 (mean of 87.6) as the warmest day on record for my 2.5 year old PWS.
