CarlislePaWx
Heavy stuff has rotated northwestward into my area now. Been pouring for the past 30 minutes. I'm up to 0.75" since midnight. At the rate the storm is moving it's hard to imagine getting much over 2" here and points west. So far winds have been gentle from the NE around 5 to occasionally 10 mph. With a temp of 69 is almost feels "raw" outside...lol.
Itstrainingtime
Heavy rain continues. I waited to pass the 2" mark before posting. 2.02" storm total thus far. 4.48" since Saturday.

Itstrainingtime
Rainfall here is very light now, all of the heavier returns are from eastern Lanco on east. I might very well end up < 3" for this event.

canderson
Might have an hour to hour and a half of light to mod/light rain and that's it left. It's been great, great rain - not too heavy, hardly any wind.

It tastes good, but is one hell of a stone producer. As for the storm, so far as I type this 1.65" in the gauge with what Id guess to be about 15-25mph gusts. Currently raining at about 3/10 inch per hour rate. I'm guessing the totals of 2-3 inches will end up being about right. My neighbor's son (who is in Oak Island, NC) got back to me and said it was at first it was ok, but once they got into the eyewall, it got crazy. They were surrounded by tornadoes, the dunes failed, and they had water under the (stilted) house a block or so beyond them. Officially, Oak Island had a 91mph gust, but he told me it seemed like some were up over 100mph. He said 11pm to midnight was the worst, which was when they were in the right front quadrant. I'm guessing winds were probably sustained, during that time, at 70+ mph.
Itstrainingtime
CTP just mentioned that up to 5" has fallen across Lancaster county - mostly south and east of the city. I'm going to end up around 3" it appears.

CarlislePaWx
And breaks of blue sky are beginning to appear as the rain here has officially ended. Got 1.18" since midnight with 0.04" yesterday.
