CAPE
Next weekend looks toasty as the rex block breaks down and an upper ridge moves in from the west. Probably upper 80s-low 90s, with some t-storm chances during the transition Friday into Saturday.

wxdude64
OK, two new records this morning. The 68.4 high is a new record 'cool max', beating 2007's 69.5. And the 1.52 inches of rain breaks 1998's 0.80 mark, actually almost doubles it. Currently 54.3/53.5 and cloudy. EDIT- running a little over a +10 inches on rainfall to date now. Hopefully we get a little rain towards the end of the week, although it is not looking too impressive. The weekend into early next week is looking pretty torchy. Probably a day or 2 of low to mid 90s with heat advisories for the urban areas.
