Definitely some areas that cash but looks like DC on east to southeast of there might have best chance.  Winds west at 12 here ...I'm pretty sure mby is out . Firepittin later should be safe .

Be careful.

Your area is in the slight risk for severe. B)

Watch this, just to be sure you have a healthy respect for large scale electrical arcing, as I know you do on the smaller scale stuff. :lightning:

Btw, when I teach multi-meter use, amazing how many people don't have a clue about the Cat ratings. Same thing in general with interrupting ratings with fuses.

Lol seriously tho, this is a cool vid.

The haves and have nots is pretty amazing around here. I was out near Federalsburg today and it was dry as a bone. Corn was all curled. Got back to the jungle (my mini farm) just in time to get swamped by another storm. I got a little over a inch today. That's about 7.25" in 7 days. My corn is head high and starting to tassel. No curls here.

At Ocean City for the weekend.  It was cool most of the day with a stiff south breeze off that chilly water - in the mid 70s with bout 20 mph wind.  Then about 4:30 the wind stopped suddenly, then shifted west and it felt like someone opened the oven door.  Went to 94 in just minutes.  It was so hot that I went inside.  Couple hours later  it shifted back and you almost need a sweatshirt on the beach.

Really impressive gradient with this one.  I had .11 inches.  Several weather stations between .5 to 1.0 miles to my south east had over an inch.

89/72

Haven't quite made it to 90 here.

Feels full on summer out there though. Still not seeing indications of a stretch of hideous heat- mid to upper 90s- on the means. Looks like typical summer for here. 85-90, with generally moderate humidity levels, over the next week or so.

Here is my view of that line of storms sinking southward. Pretty noisy. Hopefully the western edge will clip my yard.

Awesome view of the Horizon CAPE.  Really miss having a decent LOS to watch inbound events.  We're surrounded by tall trees and can't hardly see a thing except a couple of slivers of the sky to the W and NE.

That's the view from the end of my driveway. I am in the woods, so I cant see much of anything this time of year. In general though it is wide open around here with all the farms and no hills, so chases to get cool photos of storms are easy. I have collected quite a few dramatic shelf cloud shots over the years.

I drive through that area en route to the beach and also really enjoy the landscapes and scenery.
