Cold front coming down into moist mid 70s DP air and it fizzles out? Figures. Meh, who cares. It's wild how many months have had double the average rainfall, or more, over the last 10 years. Only got about an inch here since yesterday, but that's ok. Total here for August is over 17", and will probably finish there. I wouldn't mind a bit of dryness in September, but not too much of course, lol.

KamuSnow
What a beautiful day outside! 72F here. Do see a bunch of cumulus drifting down from the NNW, hopefully there's more sun than clouds today.

I had just stepped out about 15 minutes ago and it is definitely better than it was the past week or so although I guess the brick of my house is still hot and radiating, so it felt a bit warmer out than I had anticipated. lol The low was 62 this morning, which was pretty decent, although I am guessing tomorrow will be the "cooler" day. Currently 76 here with a dp of 57 and breezy. ETA - I did pick up 0.10" yesterday which takes me to 7.58" for the month (assuming no more until Tuesday), after 10.97" last month. RedSky
Is it actually raining anywhere in the lower SEPA counties or is that all virga? Because if it's raining all current guidance is wrong.

Birds~69
Labor day weekend is shaping up super nice. Temps in the upper 70s/low 80s, low DPs and more sun than not. I know I'm in the minority but I get waayyy more excited about Labor day than Memorial day for many reasons. (Fall/Winter coming, allergies slow/stop, damn mosquitoes/gnats die, dark earlier, football, can do stuff outside w/o becoming a puddle, holidays approaching etc) 1

Hurricane Agnes
I actually managed to get some August send-off rain last night right before midnight (0.04"). Finished up the month with 7.62" of rain. Today was definitely one of those "unsettled" days with overcast early, a bit of sun after that, and then cloudy much of the rest of the day, with a high eventually making it to 79 (low was 65 this morning). Still not bad out at all and currently 77 and overcast with dp 66.
