JTA66
No word from PECO when power will be restored, but I’m thinking several days. Two large trees are down on my property and the wires are under one of them. Fortunately no damage to the house. Amazing how localized events like this are—the other end of my neighborhood looks completely untouched.

In my experience when there are widespread outages, the smaller the group of customers affected by an issue the longer it takes. More bang for the buck in many ways to prioritize a problem that affects 1000 customers vs one that affects 100. Good luck! 2

BBasile
What a good storm! Non stop lightning and pea sized hail. It moved in so fast I got caught in it. Hurricane Agnes
This pretty much went south of me but I did get 0.05" of rain out of it. Starting to clear but you can see the dark clouds to the south and east of here. Temp is down to 71 but it's still a steambath with dews in the mid-upper 60s. Trees down all over south of phoenixville, east of kimberton. A lot of cleanup to be done, that was the most intense storm I've seen in at least 10-15 years here. I remember one in the mid 2000s that took a bunch of trees and we didnt have power for 5 days. Hoping we get ours back sooner than that. BBasile
Finally a day with really good storms. Was able to photograph some epic looking storms during the day and now I'm on my way back from the Delaware Bay where I was able to get some night lightning shots (and some mosquito bites) of a distant (20 miles) storm. Feels like it's been forever.
